Historical dolls penmanship styles

It's too late now, but after signing my Valentines I thought it would be fun to have signed using the same penmanship as the historical dolls. I have Nellie and Josefina. Samantha and Nellie would have used Spencerian, which I already know how to do.

I don't have all the historic books so I can't look through them. If anyone knows of samples of the girls' penmanship in any of the books or doll items, I'd be quite appreciative if you posted where the sample appears. I'm interested in seeing the samples and comparing them. And maybe learning to write using the same styles.

Julia, you are so talented I'm sure you could pick up Josefina's writing. At the end of "Josefina Learns A Lesson" I think it is Josefina that writes her name (I don't have the book with me right now). They also have some other signature examples in the Looking Back section; the Spanish/Mexicans really like to add flourishes to their writing.

The craft books tell you how to write in the historical style. When Samantha writes to her sister Nellie who lives with Nellie Girl, I use a Victorian style font!
